| This is a contribution of a German Channa friend called Chris. It wrote to us the following: I'm the owner of a parachanna obscura, nearly 3 years old and ca. 30 cm long. I've observed that there is a big chang in the morphology in the first two years. When my snakehead is hunting he's colored like the one on your photo. When he's satisfied he's nearly one-colored (a kind of dark-brown). Thank you Chris, your obscura is really wonderful! |
