Jean-Francois Helias wrote us with his pic: "This is a Jungle Perch of a kilo that I found freshly bitten in 2 pieces by a big Channa Micropeltes. The part missing had been eaten by the Giant Snakehead. I have found quite often fish like this one while fishing by boat. They will only bite and eat one half if the fish is too big for them. The cut shows sharply the round shape of the powerful Snake's jaws. They love to attack them. Especially because the Jungle Perch are also predators who like to feed also on Snakehead fry. So it is a kind of usual marine war between both species. The Snake always wins..." If you want to experience such a thing you can do it with Jean-Francois who can be reached
here. Thank you Jean-Francois for contribution!
