| This fish was caught by us in North bengal near Alipud Duar. It was found in a huge beel, which is a very shallow lake. We have never seen so many species of fish in one lake as in that beel. This is a juvenile species. You still can see the 3 lateral stripes which are typical for the baby colouring of C. marulia. |
