6a. Proximal part of caudal fin with distinct black ocellus fringed with light-coloured margin, ocellus against lighter-co loured background; body uniformly dark-brown (preserved), without any longitudinal patches of black scales .

b. Proximal part of caudal fin with or without black ocellus, when discernible, relatively indistinct due to dark background colour and without or with indistinct light-coloured fringe, ocellus on dark background; body orangish/brown, with several longitudinal patches of six to eight black or dark-coloured scales just below the lateral line, each black scale being fringed with white at the outer margin (Sumatra, Borneo) .
